Chime Pakme Nyingtik Drupchö in Lerab Ling, with OT Rinpoche
From 5 to 7 October 2023 – Orgyen Tobgyal Rinpoche considers Chime Pakme Nyingtik practice to be the most appropriate for us to focus on at Lerab Ling since we have a long tradition of practising this sadhana. The blessings of this practice are immense.Elaborate practices such as this need sponsorship for the offerings of light, incense, flowers, food (tsok) and other substances that are made on a daily basis. Without your generous support it would be impossible even to think of hosting such a practice.
The Great Enlightenment Stupa of Awakening
Following the advice of our masters, Lerab Ling has started all the preliminary works like laying the foundation for building a Great Enlightenment Stupa of Awakeing, dedicated to peace and prosperity in the world. The stupa will contain the relics of many great lineage masters as well as Sogyal Rinpoche and Mayum Tsering Wangmo. Read more about this project here.
Support the team of Practice Holders in Lerab Ling
Your contribution will support and strengthen the specialised team of practice holders in Lerab Ling. In Rigpa we uphold the full range of practices such as Longchen Nyingtik Rigdzin Dupa, Yumka Dechen Gyalmo, Duk Ngal Rangdrol, Lerab Lingpa's termas Tendrel Nyesel, Yang Nying Pudri as well as Chime Pakme Nyingtik (Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo's terma), and Zabtik Drolchok (from the Chokling tradition). We wish to train more practitioners in Lerab Ling to develop and offer a thorough Vajrayana practice curriculum and training, and provide more streaming possibilities and material support to the world-wide sangha.
Our Monastic Community
Lerab Ling is home to a thriving community of monastic practitioners who observe a daily schedule of prayer and meditation, following one of the most ancient lineages of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition (the Nyingma school). It is a time-honoured tradition in Buddhism to make offerings to the ordained spiritual community (Sangha). According to the teachings of the Buddha himself, this is an especially meaningful way to practice generosity and accumulate merit.

New Roof over our Holy Shrine
The holy shrine is still the most sacred place in Lerab Ling and a home to so many treasure objects that were offered by great masters of many different lineages to Sogyal Rinpoche. The building is ageing and the roof over the holy shrine needs to be replaced urgently. For many years we have been trying to patch up the roof but that is no longer adequate and we really need to do major construction to make it safe again. This will cost around €30,000. All donation regardless of their size are welcome.
