The Spirit of Generosity
Since ancient times, the great Buddhist masters and their monasteries, study colleges, retreat centres and publishing works have been supported almost entirely through the kindness and generosity of their students and sponsors. This spirit of generosity is a defining characteristic of the Buddhist tradition and its practice continues to the present day.
You can make a vital and lasting contribution to Rigpa's mission to bring the Buddhist teachings to the modern world in the most accessible and relevant way possible.
In 2019 the Tertön Sogyal Foundations started to disburse grants for the main priorities of Rigpa’s work such as the Study & Practice Grants, the Light of Dharma Grants and the Elders Grant.
To be able to continue to support Rigpa’s work, it is vital to ensure growth within the funds so that an increasing number of students are able to study and practise and develop their knowledge of Tibetan Buddhism long into the future.
